Anti-Virus software protects your computer from unwanted intrusion and malicious files. Check below to see what your options are when it comes to protecting your hardware and information.
Windows computers managed by SSCF are equipped with Windows Defender and Endpoint Protection by default. No extra action is required by users to stay protected.
Personal Windows computers (such as laptops) also come standard with Windows Defender but users should check with their SSCF team member to ensure their computer's security standards are up to date.
Apple workstations and laptops managed by SSCF are equipped with Sophos Anti-Virus software. Sophos passively scans for malicious web activity and can quarantine suspicious files.
Personal Apple computers do not come with an anti-virus installed, if you would like Sophos Anti-Virus installed on your computer, please contact your SSCF team member.
